On Bank Holiday Monday, 25 August 2014 Hendon FC played hosts to their landlords, Harrow Borough FC. 3pm on a Bank Holiday for a game where both teams are geographically near should bring a largish crowd. However, the torrential downpour that had lasted at least nine hours prior to kick off dampened spirits and turnout as well as everything else in sight. Harrow fans who missed the game would be grateful. Hendon fans missed a superb performance by the greens. The final score was 2 – 0. A good game of football for those who attended the game. One I wish I hadn’t missed for those who did.
